Rowlett, TX, 9/12/2011 – Bob Burrell, founder of Burrell Enterprises, Inc., is pleased to announce the sale of the company to James Peay, who will assume the position of President/CEO of Burrell Enterprises, Inc. effective 9/9/2011.
Burrell Enterprises, Inc. will continue to manufacture the LitePOWER® brand of Movie Quiet® generators and load banks at facilities in Texas and California. “Mr. Burrell will remain with the company during the transition period and will provide continued assistance in the design of products and operation of the company,” says James Peay.
All of the phone numbers, mailing and website addresses will remain the same. Only the contact email, cell and fax numbers will be changing. These will be posted on the website www.litepower.com under the contacts page. The mission statement remains the same – To create LitePOWER® products with such high quality standards and technical innovations that they will inspire high demand and ensure future growth of the company.
“We will continue to offer the same quality products and service that LitePOWER® customers have come to expect. Initially, we will focus on aggressively manufacturing generators for stock in an attempt to reduce lead times and provide our customers with the products they need when they need them,” according to Peay.

November 18, 2004 – BURRELL EXPANDS IN THE UNITED STATES AND CLOSES CANADIAN OPERATION.
It was announced today that Burrell Generators, Inc., a Canadian partnership between Robert Burrell and William F. White International, is discontinuing operations. According to Burrell, “the economic conditions that brought us here in the first place no longer exist. The Canadian dollar is at a 12 year high and continues to get stronger. This combined with a very soft North American Motion Picture equipment market were more than the company could overcome.”
In a related move it was also announced that Burrell Enterprises, Inc. would be taken private with Robert Burrell acquiring all outstanding stock. Burrell Enterprises, Inc. is a Texas corporation that manufactures and sells LitePOWER Movie Quiet generators and accessories. Burrell stated that production capacity would be increased to include additional LitePOWER products with a new facility in Forney, Texas.
